An IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home is a property designed and maintained around wildfire risk-reduction measures promoted by the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety. The program focuses on defensible space, noncombustible materials, ember-resistant details, roof and vent protection, and documentation.
